These HELLA adapters are used factory on most vehicles that use D1 or D3 series based bulbs (D1S, D1R, D1C, D3S, D3R, and D3C) to keep them in place and lock into the factory housing. They will allow you to replace your OEM factory xenon bulbs with aftermarket bulbs and secure the bulbs in place allowing the wires to pass through.
