CAN-Bus – Each 36MM SMD Festoon LED Bulb from HKP™ features strong CAN-Bus load resistors built-in for error free performance. Every bulb consists of 3x high power 5050 SMD LED chips; 3x long to allow for the greatest amount of light dispersion possible. The grade ‘A’ LED chips used on all LED bulbs from HKP™ have a lifespan of over 50,000 hours due to no physical filament inside to burn out and they run cool to the touch.
Sizing – Created to be 100% plug-and-play for all applications. No conversion required; simply remove the old bulb and plug in the new LED and you’re done! Offered in a variety of colors so you can choose just what is best suited for your application. LED bulbs are polarity sensitive so if the bulb does not light up one way, simply remove the bulb, flip it 180 degrees and reinstall. Most LED’s can be used one size up or down; 31mm fits into 32mm, 41mm for 42mm and so on.
Error Free – Built in load resistors with triple layered PCB removes errors from the dash commonly found when converting halogen and incandescent bulbs to LED lighting technology in most German cars like BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc.
Options – Color options can get confusing, especially with so many variations of the same color, we get it. We offer 3 different shades of white (warm white, pure white and cool white) as well as various other colors. A pure white is going to give off no yellow and no blue, simply a pure bright white output matching closest to a 5000k HID bulb. A cool white bulb will provide a slight hue of blue as you would see generally on a newer Audi and will match closest to a 6000k HID bulb. Warm white provides the most amount of light output with a more yellow output closest to a factory halogen/incandescent or 4300k HID bulb. We strongly recommend matching the LED color with the color of the lens it will be going behind to avoid any wash out of colors.
