Upgrade – The plug and play 41MM SMD LED Festoon bulb from HKP™ is a perfect fit for many cars and trucks with dozens of endless applications for use. Festoon base LED bulbs replace power sucking incandescent lights in your car or truck for map, dome and another other light accepting a 41mm tube style festoon bulb. Each bulb features current limiting resistors and consistent current to allow for long lifespan and reliability.
Quality – Each 41mm SMD LED bulb from HKP™ features 8x high power 5050 SMD LED chips; 4x long by 2x wide to allow for the greatest amount of light dispersion possible. The grade ‘A’ LED chips used on all LED bulbs from HKP™ have a lifespan of over 50,000 hours due to no physical filament inside to burn out and they run cool to the touch. Aluminum end caps on every festoon bulb allow for a solid installation without the worry of the bulb coming loose or falling out.
5050 Chip – The 5050 LED chip was one of the first few surface mounted chips to emerge in the automotive lighting industry and has been around for the longest. This is allows us to produce these bulbs at a significantly lower price from newer chip styled bulbs and gets its name simply from its dimensions; 50 x 50 mm. Each 5050 SMD LED chip produces approximately 18 lumens per diode.
Options – Color options can get confusing, especially with so many variations of the same color, we get it. We offer 3 different shades of white (warm white, pure white and cool white) as well as various other colors. A pure white is going to give off no yellow and no blue, simply a pure bright white output matching closest to a 5000k HID bulb. A cool white bulb will provide a slight hue of blue as you would see generally on a newer Audi and will match closest to a 6000k HID bulb. Warm white provides the most amount of light output with a more yellow output closest to a factory halogen/incandescent or 4300k HID bulb.
Installation – Created to be 100% plug-and-play for all applications. No conversion required; simply remove the old bulb and plug in the new LED and you’re done! Offered in a variety of colors so you can choose just what is best suited for your application. LED bulbs are polarity sensitive so if the bulb does not light up one way, simply remove the bulb, flip it 180 degrees and reinstall. Most LED’s can be used one size up or down; 31mm fits into 32mm, 41mm for 42mm and so on.
