Built – The T10/194 1-SMD 5050 CAN-Bus error free wedge base style LED bulb from HKP™ feature a shorter overall length compared to an original T10/194 incandescent bulb, allowing them to be beneficial in applications with tight space.
Upgrade – Greatly improve light output, increase longevity of bulb life and overall looks in every application like license plate lights, interior lights, and more with HKP™ 1-SMD CAN-Bus (error-free) LED bulbs. These bulbs were designed around the size of factory incandescent bulbs which makes them most suited for almost every application without having to modify existing bulb housings.
Options – Color options can get confusing, especially with so many variations of the same color, we get it. We offer 3 different shades of white (warm white, pure white and cool white) as well as various other colors. A pure white is going to give off no yellow and no blue, simply a pure bright white output matching closest to a 5000k HID bulb. A cool white bulb will provide a slight hue of blue as you would see generally on a newer Audi and will match closest to a 6000k HID bulb. Warm white provides the most amount of light output with a more yellow output closest to a factory halogen/incandescent or 4300k HID bulb. We strongly recommend matching the LED color with the color of the lens it will be going behind to avoid any wash out of colors.
Error Free – CAN-Bus load resistors are built-in for error-free and plug and play installation. CAN-Bus bulbs are needed and should be used in higher end vehicles that display a bulb out or error message on the dash when converting from halogen to LED. See below, “What is CAN-Bus?” for more information on these revolutionary bulbs.
Installation – Could not be easier; simply remove your factory incandescent wedge base bulb and install the T10 1-SMD CAN-Bus LED bulb the same way. Note that LED bulbs are polarity sensitive meaning if the bulb does not light up when inserted one way, remove the bulb, flip it 180 degrees and reinsert the bulb.
