Product Description

Renowned: The Morimoto Elite Systems have earned their reputation amongst many as the aftermarket’s best set of HID’s. We urge you to check out the specs below, Read the reviews and then ask yourself whether your ability to see well while driving at night is worth saving a couple bucks?

Optioned Out: With a variety of available options, the Morimoto Elite HID system can be configured perfectly just for you.

HID Ballasts: The all new XB ballasts feature relocated igniters like OEM units, putting them far closer to the HID bulb. The lack of high voltage transmitted through wiring drastically reduces EMI/RFI (radio interference). Total system reliability is also improved by shielding the main circuit board from the static produced by these high voltage bursts on start up. (not to mention they’re damn good looking!)

HID Bulbs: The Morimoto H4 HID bulbs feature ceramic bases for precise alignment giving you a clean beam pattern. Quartz glass tubes to minimize UV output and maximize luminosity. Their Praxair (US) metal halide salts produce very accurate color temperatures in the 4K, 5K, and 6K range.

Wiring: The special Morimoto-Cycle Bi-xenon Harness features an all-new weather-pack extruded aluminum high/low relay, 14 gauge stranded copper wire wrapped in durable black tech-flex mesh that looks like a factory harness once installed. No cutting or splicing here: all connections are plug-n-play. Most importantly, the harness includes the proper length wiring specially made for motorcycle applications.

Backed Up: Let’s not forget the 5-year warranty on the entire kit*. The Elite system is designed to run for 2500 hours, so that’s what it’s guaranteed for. Don’t buy into empty promises from other places offering BS “lifetime” warranties. Nothing lasts forever, and if you think “the other guy” will be there to pick up the phone or even stay in business long enough to assist you when there’s a problem; guess again! [*XB55 kits have 3 year warranty]

Color Options

3000K is the lowest kelvin temperature offered, and has a golden yellow output, which is great for use in fog lights and high beams for a unique look.

4300K is a white/yellow output, and is used in most factory HID applications. It will not have any blue tint, just a natural white color.

5000K is a pure white output with no yellow or blue. It will not have any blue tint, just a natural white color.

6000K is one of the most popular colors, which produces an ice white color. It has a very slight hint of blue, and matches most most LED bulbs.

8000K is the highest temperature offered, which produces an ice blue color.

Aside from the colors listed above, we offer higher kelvin ratings which we do not recommend for use as headlights due to their lower output in light and decreased visibility. The higher the kelvin rating of a bulb, the more vivid color you will receive but decreases the amount of lumens. The lower the kelvin rating of the bulb, the greater amount of lumens (light output) it will produce.
