Product Description
Original – The HKP™ T10/168/194 5-SMD 5050 LED started it all in the automotive LED industry. These are among our most popular of the T10/194 wedge based bulbs due to their relatively small size compared to a standard 168 bulb.
Applications – Measuring in at almost identical sizing to a standard incandescent bulb allows these to fit in most sockets without any modification. Also, producing a massive 110 lumens out of a small bulb is unheard of. If your looking to replace many bulbs in your 12V system, these may be the way to go!
Options – Color options can get confusing, especially with so many variations of the same color, we get it. We offer 3 different shades of white (warm white, pure white and cool white) as well as various other colors. A pure white is going to give off no yellow and no blue, simply a pure bright white output matching closest to a 5000k HID bulb. A cool white bulb will provide a slight hue of blue as you would see generally on a newer Audi and will match closest to a 6000k HID bulb. Warm white provides the most amount of light output with a more yellow output closest to a factory halogen/incandescent or 4300k HID bulb. We strongly recommend matching the LED color with the color of the lens it will be going behind to avoid any wash out of colors.
Budget Friendly – While these bulbs are still extremely popular, vast improvements in LED technology has left these bulbs without any major changes in the past few years. That being said, we do not recommend installing these anywhere that they will be run for hours on end as the chips tend to heat up and heat is the leading cause of death to any LED chips.
