Built – Resistor mounting brackets made out of thick plated aluminum to help dissipate heat rapidly and allow for a longer lasting resistor. An HKP™ exclusive patented product; designed and engendered for an easy alternative for installation of standard gold resistors used in aftermarket LED and HID applications.
Mounting – Resistors can be tricky to mount as they tend to get hot and have difficult to reach mounting bolts in some installations, save time and hassle with these easy to mount resistor brackets. The finish of these mounting plates are smooth and ready to paint if you desire.
Sizing – Each mounting plate will allow you to mount one resistor; our larger 50W and also the smaller 25W with the ease of the pre-drilled mounting holes. If you are purchasing with the gold resistors we sell, mounting screws will easily attach and are included with the purchase of resistors.

I didn't want to spend the money on a plate to install a resistor to but after I melted a inner fender liner I spent the money for this and was able to use a existing bolt to mount the plate and resistor to, Kept it away from anything that I could melt......... again
